Hard Pass on the guy whos best team got punked by UCLA

I dont want change for the sake of change. Be nice to actually upgrade instead of another loser.

Franklin is steaming pile of dogshite, getting fired 1 year from making the playoffs. He is in free fall right now.

But go on…

Franklin is too soft to come back to the SEC.

Won’t be Kiffin. There’s been a few whispers about Freeman though.

He'd be a great hire for them.

It would give them a chance to re-establish the floor from the free fall they've been in.

Bet the trailer and the $90k truck you have parked under the Walmart car port nailed to the double wide.

I would love Freeman but why would he leave Notre Dame?

Alex Golesh from USF would be way more scary at UF than Franklin would be.

I would bet it one of 3

USF coach Golesh- Most mention him as the top
Iowa State Matt Campbell
Kansas coach - Lance Leipold

unlikely but we will try because why not
Jedd Fisch - Washington HC
Lane Kiffin - obvious

You could do worse.

But, I'm curious. After "Sun Belt Billy," given the immutable law of coaching changes (next guy has to be different from the last guy), I assume that means that up and coming coaches from lower tier schools are out, which leaves you with:

1. breaking the bank to hire a big name (who would have to be movable in the first place);
2. an even more unproven coordinator; or,
3. hiring a retread (like Franklin)

Curious to see which way Florida goes.
