Shane finally nuts up and fires an assistant! Hate it for his family, but as a fan of the program this move is huge.

I don’t hate it for him, he’s probably getting a fat severance. the offensive line is single-handedly why we aren’t 5-1 or 6-0 right now. Squandered what could have finally been an SEC title season for this team with all the pieces there. Sad stuff.

Sean Elliott moved to ol coach?

Eta: It's him. I like it. I just hope Elliott can right the ship sooner rather than later.

Eta2: Not so sure after reading SCrooster's comments on the main page....

It’s a start.

I wish he would clear out the entire offensive staff and start over at the end of the year.

Beamer should never had promoted him to start with.

Hell, shoulda done it during the BYE if they were going to do it. Not sure why he waited another game, we've been seeing the same crap with him at he helm of the OL for the past few years.

Better late than never I suppose.

This is a Beamer weakness. Is he willing to can coaches for poor performance? Yes, and that is a good thing, and it has turned around the offense in the last. But he always waits a week or two too late which makes what could’ve been great seasons into just solid seasons.
