I dearly hope he gets his swagger back by gametime tomorrow so we can take it again.

0% chance there's 5800 people there. Honestly there might not be 1000 in attendance
Also the last 15 seconds of that game was the most rigged CFB game I've ever seen. Not only did Sam Houston's coaches intentionally try to lose, both teams instructed the officials to add time to the clock so Jacksonville State could get in FG range and they complied
I actually timed the last 3 plays for Jacksonville State
0:15 - 4th 4th & 2 at JVST 25
Cam Cook run for 18 yds to the JXST 43 for a 1ST down
The clock operator originally stopped it with 7 seconds left. The officials announced reset the clock to 8 seconds, then after consulting with the coaches, they announced reset it to 10 seconds instead. In reality 6.5 seconds of real time passed between the snap and the time the player was down. And that's giving JVST a timeout the exact moment the player was down
0:10 - 4th 1st & 10 at JVST 43
Caden Creel pass complete to Pearson Baldwin for 17 yds to the SHSU 40 for a 1ST down (0:05 - 4th) Timeout Sam Houston, clock 00:05
After this play, the clock was stopped at 3 seconds. Once again after consulting with the coaches, they reset the gameclock to 5 seconds. 6.8 seconds of real time passed between snap and player being down. Note the player was tackled ON THE FIELD and Sam Houston called a timeout while Jacksonville State had none remaining
Sam houston plays prevent and leaves noone within 15 yards of either boundary. Jacksonville State throws a predictable quick out to get in FG range, note they had 0 timeouts remaining
5-yd Pass
0:05 - 4th
Caden Creel pass complete to Pearson Baldwin for 5 yds to the SHSU 35
1st & 10 at SHSU 40 (0:03 - 4th) Timeout Sam Houston, clock 00:05
0:00 - 4th 2nd & 5 at SHSU 35
Garrison Rippa 52 yd FG GOOD
They ran 3 plays in 12 seconds, two of which were an outside run out of the shotgun to the sideline and 15 yard touch pass after the QB scrambled around for 5 yards to avoid a sack. And both players were tackled, neither got out of bounds. Absolutely insane. Over 13 real time seconds passed on the first 2 plays alone
And yes, you're seeing that right. Sam Houston burned 2 timeouts to both stop the clock and give Jacksonville State time to scheme how to get in FG range without running the clock out

Scouting Jacksonville State, but honestly it was so blatantly rigged I'm not even sure what to think. If you ever want proof of a game being rigged and the coaches being in on it that's undeniable, that's the one
Note the spread was JVST -7(74% bets), O/U 53.5 or 54.5 depending on book(54% under) and Sam Houston ML +220 to 250. Anyone that had JVST ML closed it early for a loss. Anyone with JVST -7 lost outright. A lot of people with the over likely closed it with 15 seconds left to minimize losses. Anyone with the under lost. Anyone with Sam Houston ML lost. And anyone taking Sam Houston +7 likely also bet the under given the team was averaging 15 ppg and had just scored 10 points to open conference play vs New Mexico State. The only logic behind taking them +7 is expecting a very low scoring game, which would have resulted in a loss combined with the Sam Houston +7 win. Every single bet lost
