Why do people say Arch didn’t play at the highest level in Louisiana?

He was literally the No. 1 recruit in the country since he was a junior. His HS highlights are him dominating. See below.

Another day, another Aggie fan posting more about Texas than their own team.

The RRS is the biggest game of the weekend. The universe doesn’t revolve around just our team.

The Sooners and horn deserve attention this week. Maybe breathe and learn to hype the biggest SEC game of the weekend. It’s not always us.

Brock Vandergriff played in A-Private in Georgia. The highest level of high school football in GA when he played was AAAAAAA. He played at the "lowest level" of high school football in GA.

Do the LA math.

Is it, though?

Oregon/Indiana gets my vote.

The thing is, I do believe the conspiracy that Bobby Burton overrates certain recruits. He owned 247, and On3, if I recall.

There was a discussion on a different site whether it’s Sark’s fault, or the recruiting companies fault when it comes to talent evaluation. Found it interesting.

It’s why I still trust Steve Wiltfong’s rating over On3s.

I don’t know if you’re braindead or just refuse to listen to us,but we have told you till we’re blue in the face that any time Arch played any HS team with a pulse he looked exactly like the QB you have seen all of this year! I hope this clears it up for you ! Jesus !!

I'm pretty sure OP is trolling. Watch the tape. The level of competition is comical.

Burton and Ketchopottamus were a couple of the worst things involved with Texas recruiting

BVG put up crazy numbers against A-Private competition. He might not have put up those same numbers had he played in AAAAAAA ball.

Unfortunately for him, he transferred to UK only to have Liam Coen bolt back to the NFL, and he played behind a horrendous OL.

Manning's numbers were against a lower classification on LA football. That's what "the people" are saying.

Numbers only mean so much. BVG was still throwing bombs to the endzone in the 4th quarter when PACS was already up by 40+ points. Aaron Philo (now at GT) was the QB at PACS after BVG, and he had even better numbers.

PACS was beating teams so badly that they wouldn't play the second game in home-and-home agreements. It was so bad that PACS is now having to play teams from TN and SC to fill their schedule.

I just don’t know the math of the level of competition Arch was playing when you translate it back to Texas football.

Like was he playing the equivalent of 2A, 4A or 6A football. I’d assume around 3A.

They were fast. That number 70 looked like Lawrence Taylor out there.

I'm not sure. I played high school ball in Alabama.
