Court is expected to pass that a player can play 5 years in the NCAA. NJCA does not count.
Teams are now going to end up with talent staying longer and thus, not a lot of room to recruit.
It then becomes a race for transfers and the high school players will get the shaft.

Is this implying that guys like Pavia and Aguilar would be allowed to return next season?

I have no doubt that it could happen. Somebody at some point will sue and argue that.

Aguilar for another year would be so count. Faizon could RS.

Actaully, If I am looking at his bio right, he would have 2 more years.

That logic doesn't really track. They expanded scholarship limits, and you still have to bring new players in at some point.

This new era of college football is so foreign from the one I grew up with and is really hard to follow.
I haven't paid attention lately to the roster limit and no walk-ons stuff. Is that still happening?

They've literally created a glass ceiling for high school recruits and I absolutely hate it.

100% - Getting Aguilar back next season would be a game changer. He had a few months to learn the playbook and he's balled out on limited knowledge of it. I'd love to see what he could do with a full year in the system.

So what about the guys who went to the NFL or USFL not knowing the rules. Are we going to punish them or can they come back too?

This would level the playing field more IMO. Could be fun.
Not as fun for those who don’t want to wait 3-4 years to play tho lol
Will definitely make it harder for high school recruits to get scholarship offers.

That's how I'm interpreting it as well. If true, Pavia would have 1 more year and Aguilar would have 2. Would be huge for both teams.

It does track. There is not a SR on any team that will not get an extra year if they want it. Example since Tennessee
They have 13 Srs.. All of them are going to get another year. If they all decide to stay and the team is good with that, That's going to leave how many spots?

They raised the Roster to 105 beginning next year.

That's a fact.
There is teams already processing commits in prep for it. They will not be able to take as many HS. That's amplified by the transfer portal too.

Again, you can add up to 105 scholarship players vice 85.
Coaches are not going to blanket extend seniors who aren't going to be productive.
You can't have transfers or upperclassmen to extend if you don't replace them with freshmen to replenish the future pipeline at some point.
Where it will hurt is increased amount of transfers for talented players not wanting to wait behind experienced upperclassmen

This and This:

Will go hand in hand.
The top teams will not be able to recruit as much out of HS and that means middle of the road teams will get better talent.
It also means a lot of players that would normally be recruited by mid tier teams and lower level teams will not get the opportunity

LOL. Ok. You keep thinking that. No, Not all teams will grant all SRs an extra year. They would literally have to pull a scholarship. However teams are already processing commits.

Who stated that no HS players will be recruited? I said LESS will be.

That's already hurting. Will be worse. You are talking Freshmen now have to wait up to 6 years to play. They are not going to do that. Neither will Sophomores.

In a way, what this is really going to do is make lower D1, D2, and D3 better. 5 stars HS kids are going to want playing time to ramp up there NIL payday.
