There won't be an SEC coach that will take his foot off the gas. NOT ONE.

I'm curious as to why Spurrier was never reprimanded for his comments about Kiffin.

publicly accusing a coach of a recruiting violation when nothing has been confirmed or reported is a violation itself. did spurrier do that to kiffin?

Because Superior has actually achieved things in the SEC. Kiffin hasn't done anything yet aside from piss off the whole conference.

That being said, KRS-One is a loose cannon and if I'm the SEC Office I'd steer clear of him.

Yes, Spurrier accused Kiffin of committing NCAA violations for contacting recruits before he was officially announced as head coach.

And Kiffin's comments were made at a private function, which in turn became a public affair.

Because everyone in the SEC office saw in Kiffen's first presser that he was a total loudmouth cocky douchebag.

Spurrier said something to the effect that you can't recruit unless you've passed the NCAA recruiting rules test. Kiffen had already passed it and made the comment that he made like a 90 something on it, maybe only missed one and he wondered what Spurrier made on it.

I'm guessing the one he missed either had to do with it not being against the rules to call other recruits on a trip or it could have been about publicly accusing another school of wrong-doing. Just a wild guess though.

I never heard word one about Spurrier violating some code of ethics, and with the hatred Tennessee fans still hold for Spurrier, it certainly would have been mentioned on one of the Vol message boards I frequent.
