Giving it another watch. I was a huge fan of Homicide: Life on the Street back in the day. Have seen The Wire in years but damn there are so many good actors in this.

Micheal B. Jordan is a kid in it. Balls haven't even dropped yet and you can hear it in his voice. To make it football related, D is the kicker for Southwest Louisiana State or whatever it is in The Waterboy.

Like damn this is a good series.

Other people in here...

The dude from The Continental in John Wick.

Idris Elba.

Callie Thorne (she played a homicide detective in Homicide and was Denis Leary's side piece in Rescue Me).

Unpopular opinion: I didn't care for The Wire as much as everyone else did. The first season was incredible. But, I wish it would have kept following the same people. I didn't care for the season 2 storyline at all.

The whole point of Season 2 is to show how the drugs are imported and how hard it is for a local police department to work that kind of case.

But yeah, of the seasons it is my least favorite.

I still find it hilarious that the show runner for "The Wire" has gone on record as saying "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" was a better show.

Mind you, I love both shows... but I can do a rewatch of The Wire without feeling creepy. I can't watch an episode of Buffy without knowing that Joss Whedon harassed most of the cast, sexually for the ladies, including 14 year old Michelle Trachtenberg.

Honestly, I'm not even that high on the show and I absolutely love those shows. I'll have to try a rewatch. Ive seen everything already which is why Im rewatching Dexter for about the fifth time.

Right now, Task is by far and away my favorite thing on. I also like Black Rabbit.
