Why can't Bama get targeting called for us?

It sure seems like Bama isn't getting the benefit of targeting calls unlike our opponents.

Ryan has had 2 targeting fouls that should have definitely been called. The guy that leaped last week onto the pile targeted.

And yet refs can see inside a scrum and call a targeting against Bama. We seem to be getting a little bias against us.

I agreed with call today. They just made a bad call last week and missed another on Georgia.

What about the targeting on Ryan where he got concussed?

I gave up on ever getting a targeting call in 2022 after that Tennessee player launched crown first as hard as he could directly into Bryce's facemask and Jason Autry couldn't even keep a straight face when saying it wasn't targeting.

I dont even know what targeting really is at this point. The one called on James Smith against UGA looked clean to me-helmet on the ball, like your taught.

But then there have been plays where a defender literally puts his helmet into our guys helmet and its a no call. Its all pretty dumb.

The 2022 Tennessee game was the most obviously rigged game in history. Alabama was going to lose that game no matter what. Higher powers had already decided. I’m still fuming over it three years later.

Hell, we seldom get ANY calls go our way. As usual, Vandy was holding their gonads off all day and I think they were flagged once all day.

Opposing fans always say that Alabama gets favorable officiating. It’s actually the opposite.

Personally, I think at the coin toss, the Alabama equipment managers need to wheel out a 50 gallon drum of lube out to midfield. When the refs ask what it’s for, our guys can reply, “It’ll make it easier when we inevitably get fisted by you guys today.”
