Georgia hasn't had a halftime lead against a P5 team since the first Texas game last year. That shouldn't be possible, but here we are.

IMO, one of the biggest problems is we have a lot of assistant coaches who have been hired based on recruiting acumen more than Xs and Os and ability to develop. Modern recruiting is now nothing more than who can cut the biggest check, so recruiting ability should not be in the top 20 reasons to hire an assistant now.

They are off point. People wanted the Bama game because it was time, we had all the advantages, it isn't anything to do with championship runs, it was a game circled last year after we lost at their place.

This was Pollack's main idea.

In retrospect, having Monken, Buster Faulkner, Lanning and Fran Brown all on the same staff was legendary.

The main difference as I see it, trying to play freshman tackle and guard, no effective pass rush and breaking in a first time QB. All these problems can improve this year, but who knows how much. To me pass rush is main problem, otherwise Dawgs are playing well enough to win, baring turnovers. Looks like a few close games that could go either way.

Never realized how great we had it.
