No way we are the fourth best team in the country but why not us? We could grow into that if Trinidad continues to improve.

Why not? Schedule wise, we’ve been tested as much or more than anyone.
Tulane is still in contention for the at-large and the LSU defense is legit. It takes four or five games for the oline to gel and we’ve seen vast improvement from game one to now. I don’t know if Simmons would do better but Trinidaddy is playing out of his mind. We have a running game and the defense is good enough.
I said it last year after the season. I think we make the playoffs this year and I haven’t seen anything to change my mind.

ED is so much fun when they think there’s hope.

I haven't seen any team this season and thought to myself, "Now that's a damn good team." We earned our ranking, unlike teams like Penn State.

I do think Oregon and Ohio State (outside the QB) are in a tier of their own. But it isn’t as far apart as most years. Anyone from 1-12 could beat each other. And anyone from 3-25 could lose to each other. Gonna be an awesome playoff race.
