And #25 is currently losing. There's going to be a big shake-up in the rankings tomorrow.

I think you're right. Seems crazy that OU might be in the top 5 tomorrow. They don't look that good, but I'm not sure there are five teams who do at the moment.
CBS has Ole Miss jumping all the way to #4. That's a big jump, but why the hell not at this point?

Instead of playing all its big games at the same time on weeks like this one I wish the SEC would play some Thursday or Friday games to spread them out.

Everyone jumps on the rankings when no team has actually deserved to be ranked until they have actually played against good competition.
I hate preseason and early rankings they mean nothing.
The SEC has a few pretty good teams this year but not a superstar team
The Big 10 doesn’t look any better nor the ACC
NIL has been the equalizer I guess no one is running away right now.

The big games each weekend are about to start, things will sort out, except the media on ND d!ck.

By the time the last CFP ranking come out we might see several 2 or 3 loss teams get in. This seems to be a year that mass chaos is likely.

You're probably closer to right than they are. The AP Poll hasn't recently been quite as conservative about big moves as they historically were, but that does still seem too big.

I used to look at that thing all the time as an early substitute for the old "How the Top 25 Fared" like we'd read in the Sunday newspaper. I haven't been checking it out recently though.

I agree. Today was our first real test with our backup D2 QB. We still have to deal with Georgia and Oklahoma on the road. And there are still a lot of question marks.
