ATM and OU were a given neither of those were changing and we were number 1 on Arkansas list so what were we supposed to do?

True statement and as unfair as it may seem for other schools, Arkansas probably most likely did have you as their #1 with LSU and A&M as 2&3
So that’s just the way the cookie crumbles
Also, A&M Arky and Oklahoma are the only 3 schools that had you on their lists

Well yeah, we’ve all been rivals for 100+ years… it’s turdition!
The other part of course is money, which seems to be big in college football these days… Texas vs. Arky, OU, and aggy will get all the boomers onto the couch tuning into these games to relive their glory days. Which of course drives network and ad dollars, and drives sales of SEC school merch… and keeps Sankey well compensated I’m sure…

Sooners are such freaking bitches when it comes to the sips and how you suck up to them.
Texas is going to destroy the SEC and it's going to happen faster than I thought, this is just the latest little sign. They own ESPN which owns the commissioner. This is the B12/SWC all over again, seen this show twice already. They do not see anyone as a peer, they are Texas and everyone else are peasants to them.
I'm not too concerned as an Aggie, we are the one school that actually has leverage on them politically and we are too strong for them to mess with financially. We are not as strong as Texas but the gap is not nearly as wide as most here believe. That all has little to do with football but make no mistake, football is still a business. We don't trust them and we know who they are, they don't play by rules except the rules they make for themselves. They are the spawn of Satan and allowing them in the SEC was like injecting it with cancer, eventually it will kill the patient. It's what it does.
