He still throws the ball too hard when pressured. Miami receivers dropping the ball like ours did last year.

Perfect snap shot of Beck, Miami should be up 28-0 yet they keep shooting themselves in the dick.

Yeah, UGA handled UF better last year than he did tonight

Moral of the story is that it's not easy to play quarterback against SEC defenses. If things are slightly off, some receivers are dropping passes and your OL and RB's are banged up and you play an SEC schedule loaded with talented defenses like UGA did in 2024, then you're not gonna have a great statistical season. All the media propagandists using Beck's numbers at Miami to take a dig at UGA will ignore his performance tonight, but they know what's changed, and it's not that he has better play calling or support at Miami.

Miami looked like a very average team last night. They just had a below average opponent.

I would agree, Miami isn’t all that good, Florida is just really bad. Lagway was turrible. I was concerned about him heading in to this season, based on his success late in the season last year, but I’m not anymore.

In all fairness, he is just a tick off. Hard to explain, like he intentionally wants to not take what the defense is giving.

Fromm made a living out of saying that you will never go broke taking a profit..... Beck is the opposite of that. Get first downs, take the check downs, don't force it and on stolen possessions you set up the deep balls where you have a free possession

I think UF has a good defense and a broken offense and they will be dangerous if Lagway figures some things out.

Their O Line blocks about once a quarter and their RBs run for good yardage. If they get the Ol blocking all game they will win some games.

#77 watched three sacks on Lagway when they sacked him for the safety. go back and watch those three plays.

Yeah, writing them off at this point in the season is premature. Lagway is at that point where the game can start slowing down for some, not all, young qb's. He does need better blocking.

Yah, Miami looked average in the game. I was expecting Beck to carve up UF but the Gators played pretty good D. I'll have to credit the Gators. As a lot of QB's, Beck looks great if he's not under a lot of pressure.
