Vandy was down 20-10 at half. Went on a 34-0 run to win 44-20.

I was too busy being pissed at LSU to keep up

Vandy has a "momentum" offense. They can look like hot garbage but once they click they will eat you alive.

Army lost to lowly Tarleton State and was losing at Kansas State until things clicked and they mauled K State in the second half.

LSU plays at 11am in Nashville this year sandwiched between USCe & A&M weeks.

Will be a classic trap game.

It's better to play early on the road, not the Vandy peeps get very loud anyway.

VT scored 20 and had 240 yards in the 1st half.

2nd Half they didn't even cross the 50, and only had 12 yards of offense.19 of those yards were on their last drive with 2 minutes to go and down 24 points.

Vandy has quietly elevated their status as of late

I think Lea is a great coach and NIL actually helped Vandy assuming some of those rich nerds actually put some money up to get better players

VT opened with a FG.

Pavia gifted them a bone-headed INT that led to first TD.

Pavia hit a wide open Brycem Coleman for a TD. (Worth a watch. That kid was exuberant.)

Nice hit popped the ball out of Seddy's arms which led to VT's other TD.

Add in a combination of 11(!) either dumb, or classically botched SEC officiating crew calls, to kill or extend VT's drives. Including an ineligible man downfield and apparently Isaiah Glass has stickum on his hands.

Lots of shooting themselves in the foot.

Second half, Vandy punched them a few more times, took their lunch money, and VT quit fighting.

Next thing you know, fans are filing out in the 3rd, Vandy has 3 guys with over 100 rushing yards on the season as well as the SEC's #1 defense, and is 2-0.

Vandy turned it around when they hired Jerry Kill to their staff. They guy is a very good coach who has won everywhere he’s been. Lea better keep him.

He's one heck of a coach. I hope Vanderbilt cements themselves as a consistent competitor before he fully retires.

I've seen this before. Take Carolina and the points, it's down to 5.5 now.
They win a couple of games against a couple of soft teams or A TEAM that was supposed to be good, get the fans excited and then lay an egg.

Sadly, that’s the way it goes. We get all excited and start to show up to games and then they rip the rug out from under us. Maybe this year is different though. If we win this one we can win any game on our schedule. Either way, having a competitive team is way more fun than being complete dog shite like we used to be.

Vandy is coming in with a lot of momentum to SC. And they've been chirping A LOT. It should be a war on Saturday night.

With poor Jerry... it might more accurately be stated that Lea better keep him alive.

This team is just different, though.

They have the fight like last year, but with a full year in the system in most cases, and more depth. I think I heard something like 10-12 defensive lineman played Saturday?

Still weird that SC has beaten Vanderbilt 16 straight times. It's a wild streak that could absolutely end on Saturday. SC has not played well this year.
