Am watching UGA against Marshall trying to march down the field right before the half

Did anyone else watch this game?
Am very unimpressed with the UGA QB Gunner Stockton.
Stares down his WRs badly, fails to go through his reads and pulls the ball down immediately when the first read isn't open.
Just threw what should have been an interception after staring down his first read the third time in this drive alone. Marshall DBs are consistently breaking early on the ball because of this.
This QB is not nearly as polished as Syracuse 's Angeli nor Joey Football. He is who I thought he was after watching the UGA/ ND game last year.
UGA portaled up with some decent WRs, but this QB is merely average at best. Dink and dunker who is just itching to run instead of standing in the pocket until another read comes open.

You're welcome. This is NOT the usual dominant Kirby Smart team at least not on offense. Nothing close to it. Running game looks meh too. But the QB play looks flat out bad.

Bet money on it then. Besides Branch, they look very mediocre and one dimensional. Gunner is going to struggle hard in Neyland against our DBs.

Does UGA need good QB play to beat Tennessee? Heupel averages less than 15/game against Smart.

You act like they have had equal rosters to duel with or something. The talent gap is closing more and more every year and it looks like Kirby's luck with QBs has finally ran out for now.

Stockton had a 99.1 QBR compared to "Joey Foosball's" 62.3.

They did lose their starting QB to the portal. Carson Beck played really well this weekend, better than Gunner Stockton. You can’t completely blame Georgia, it is just portal era football.

Watch the actual games on each ffs. Joey performed much better against a real opponent.

This UGA team would definitely be a problem again with Carson Beck.
Beck is 10 times the QB that Gunner is.

If we're looking at QB play as a big deal, Carson played like arse in every big game we had last year with the exception of the second half of Clemson and the Tennessee game.
He was awful in both Texas games, and vs. Ole Miss, Florida and Alabama.

Yes, so far we are without our top two CBs due to injury but transfer Colton Hood from Colorado and Freshman Redman balled out in camp and were probably the best performing guys on defense for us this game besides maybe Carter at LB.

Carson Beck will be an NFL starting QB imo worst case, career backup.
