Texas started and Texas ended the Saban Bama Dynasty

I said it when it happened but history has now made it true, Texas was the bookends that will see the Saban Bama dynasty era 2009-2023.
Colt getting hurt and then Quinn to Xavier Worthy, exact moments.
I think we all respectfully tipped our caps to Bama and that era when Saban retired, but it beats repeating now that the reality of the desert-wandering years are upon you.
It ain’t easy replacing a legend coach. Unlike Texas, we had the good fortune of being sexy and rich and not…well, poor Alabama…and NIL helped to bail us out of our miscues.
Good luck, poor fellas.

Maybe arch sucks, I’m not ready to read the death warrant yet. Either way, Arch-led Texas beats FSU.

Only a Texas fan could brag about sucking and somehow think they come out the winner in the scenario.

Yep Saban was afraid of a team that went 5-7 every 3 years

I only remember one aggy thread about yall being insufferable. Only one.
But she was right.
But she was right.

Being beat by Texas, hockey-sticked back to prominence and upper echelon via NIL $, absolutely scared and eventually broke Saban’s will and desire to compete in this era. Arguing otherwise isn’t even happening anymore. Just so happened it was Texas that broke the old man. Kismet as the hippies say.

After what we saw Saturday I don’t think a single Texas fan should be talking any kind of smack!
You got that right !!

I met my first Mizzou fan in real life ever the other day. It’s wild, you guys actually have fans and exist.
The flooding of mass migration of folks leaving hell hole STL and the second class KC for actual jobs and economic opportunities.
But hey, no, yea you are right— continuing to lean on the Journalism degree as the best part of your school gonna keep attracting the best and brightest in the AI era…

Michigan stopping Bama at 2 yard line in OT of the Rose Bowl as the end of the Saban Dynasty.

It’s because I actually like Bama. Second favorite SEC team. Is that okay to admit?
