In his opening statement, as he was saying “I have great confidence in our guys, the level of ownership has been really strong” he was simultaneously shaking his head no.
I’m not a body language expert by any means, but I believe it’s well established that this is a sign that someone doesn’t truly believe what they are saying. Results from an uncomfortableness to what is being said.
Not a good look…

The only thing he did right in his time in the microphone was say it’s not acceptable level of play. At least he took that.

Kane isn’t stupid
He knows he’s a fired arse if he cannot figure out how to STOP THE GD RUN.

Honest question, has Kane thought about calling Saban for some advice on how to stop these offenses?
It would be pretty stupid not to

Kane is a fraud. He is only masquerading as a defensive coordinator.

I was thinking about this earlier. Not about Kane but the coaching staff as a whole. When DeBoer did his introductory press conference he looked at Saban and thanked him and said “I want to try to learn at least one thing from you a day.” Said he’d be crazy not to take advantage of him being in the building.
I don’t think that’s happened. I’m sure DeBoer and Saban both know that you have to do things your way to a point. But I haven’t seen any sign of any involvement aside from stepping in while the staff went to Keelon’s sisters funeral.
But hey, maybe McElroy was right and Saban has the itch again.

You do have to do things your own way and I think you're right, I think both Saban and Deboer know that. But after losing 4 games to 14 point underdogs, you'd think you'd walk over to the stadium and ask the GOAT for some advice
Just saw a thumbnail on YouTube from ESPN that said "Can Saban save Bama?" and the video's title was Stephen A Smith wants Alabama to fire DeBoer lol

He wasn’t surprised by what they did. That was the real shocker for me. I’d loved to have been there and asked “ how much more would they have beaten us if they did something you didn’t expect?”

All I know is, if during the next game, his defense stands around taking up space again, they should buy tickets like the rest of the spectators.

Exactly. So you correctly surmised what FSU was going to do and they didn’t surprise you with anything and you still couldn’t stop them? You basically just admitted you don’t know how to do your job. If that doesn’t scream incompetence I don’t know what does. Pull the plug on this idiot TODAY!
