Has Anyone Done An Offensive Line Film Analysis Yet?

I'd love to read / hear an analysis of the OL from Game One.
Beyond the two Cayden Green focused FUBAR's, were they handling their assignments well? Where did they excel and what needs cleaning up ASAP? Good or bad, is it going to be a season long trend due to athleticism or lack thereof?
If anyone has done a film analysis or knows of one please share. TIA

After rewatching the 1st half, I would rank our O-line in this order:
1 Tollison - good first game back
2 Trost - very tenacious and strong
3 Peagler - a mauler and worked well with Trost
4 Green - seemed slow at times (analysis paralysis)
5 Guidice - he looked slow and stiff
From what I remember of 2nd half, everyone started playing better, but it was evident that Peagler belonged on the field the entire time he was out there.

Ill just talk about the 1st half drives where wheels started to wobble. The second drive got off to a solid start and they put Horn in the game. The play Horn got hurt on had Norfleet and Guidice to the left of center with Peagler, Trost, and Green on the right. Guidice pulled on the play and it was well blocked from line standpoint. Three plays later they flipped Trost in to the boundary outside Green with Peagler and Norfleet right of the center. They ran a jet sweep to the field where Norfleet never saw the safety crossing his face and Coleman was tackled at the line. Norfeet makes that block and Coleman has grass for days. That drive ended with a scramble by Pribula. Had Beau not slipped, i think he picks up the first down. Craig ended the second drive with a FG.
The 3rd drive was the worst of the day for the #1s. Moore pulled Guidice to the right who was supposed to take on the EMOL. They blitzed the field safety and Guidice was caught between defenders and both went past him. Beau got the ball out and Jones made a great catch to stay ahead of the chains. They moved the chains on the first play of the second quarter with a throw to Coleman and started leaking oil. Green commits a hold and negates a chain moving throw to Johnson. Olugbode got the ball twice to set up Hardy with a 3rd and 1. Moore called IZ to the right and Hardy hit a 9 yd run. They ran jet motion bootleg on the next play. Beau missed the CB showing blitz after his man went in motion. Beau barely got the ball out to Norfleet for no gain. Green whiffed his block on second down and Beau barely got the ball out avoid the sack. Beau hit Roberts short of the sticks and got a generous spot on 4 and 2 to move the chains. Beau lost his helmet and everyone in the stadium knew Hardy was getting the ball on Zollers first career snap. Green whiffed another block and gives up second down sack. Beau overthrew Coleman on 3rd down and Craig drilled another FG.
Coleman set the offense up with a great return for the 4th drive and Beau channeled Fran Tarkenton on 2nd down for his first rushing TD. The line did their job on that play as the blitzing LB was Hardy's man.
The 5th drive started at the one after a great kick by the Bear's QB. Robert's 31 yd run was negated by Guidice holding his defender well after the RB went by. They ran IZ two more times with Roberts and Beau kept the zone read on 3rd down to move the chains. The pass blocking was sound and Beau hit 4 consecutive passes before getting Norfleet blown up. Roberts picked up the first on an IZ run. Guidice got a false start penalty on 1st down to set them behind the chains. The good pass blocking continued and Johnson set them up inside the 5 on two consecutive receptions. Missouri went with 12 personnel with Jude James at FB on 1st down. The 1st down inside run was stopped. The 2nd down tush push was stopped. The went 13 personnel again on 3rd down and ran the play I thought they should have ran on 1st down. Beau held the safeties with his eye and there was a great rub on the LB by Harris. Norfleet was all alone.
A P4 defense likely makes them pay for tripping over their own feet but they did score 20 points in spite of the inefficient play. I dont think we will see the waning intensity this Saturday.

Thanks Navy and Faurot ...
Do you see these issues as being problematic for the season or at least the next few games? If so, is part of the solution running more 12 personnel, holding an RB in? Or trying to rotate the pocket to one side or the other? And if their footwork is clumsy could they even pull off a floating pocket?
No one expects you to have all the definitive answers but any projections would be welcomed. TIA

This really deserved its own thread. Thanks for posting.

That was a great breakdown. Also, it's very apparent that Pribula was well-liked and respected in PA.

Thanks Claw. I'm glad these old eyes aren't deceiving me.
I posted on the rant he looked like a pro quarterback (possibly Mizzou's best since Chase Daniel) with his progressions and accuracy and of course got downvoted to no end. He looks like Drew Brees or more accurately like a better Brock Purdy with his accuracy and ability to extend plays and throw on the run accurately. Hopefully he learns when to surrender on scrambles and running plays to avoid contact.
I'll be honest, I haven't been this excited about our team's potential offensive ceiling in a long, long time.

Moore spent a lot the first half strictly running IZ and putting several different alignments on tape. It induced multiple errors by the two most experienced linemen. It almost feels like manufacturing coachable moments against an inferior opponent. I say this because they came out in the second half running OZ and Hardy had 82 rushing yds on 5 carries and Beau went 4-5 for 81 passing yds in two 3rd quarter scoring drives.
They wont need to manufacture adversity this weekend. I think they come out swinging on Saturday and test kU's depth.

All kinds of good stuff in this thread. Thanks!
Now, do one for kU. I have no idea what those SOBs have going for them. I can't imagine wanting to go to school or play for kS.
M I Z - F k U!

I think all of those strategies you listed are things we can and do use to protect. I think our pass pro will be fine. Right now my question is do we have the top 5 OL starting?
I love everything I've heard about Dom G as a leader t and teammate, but he just looked stiff and unathletic compared to our other guys. Maybe I was expecting a more explosive player since he used to be a D end, but like navy said, a lot of it can be attributed to thinking too much which will always slow you down.
