Stopping them on 4th down from the three and then driving 97 yards for a TD.

Instead of being down 10-0 or 6-0 we went up 7-3.

That was huge.

That mightve cost Aranda the game and his career. Did not realize he was Lane Jr.

Rayshawn Pleasant made the play of the game. I look forward to seeing big plays from him as the season continues.

I’ll go with the 3rd and 16 or 14 or whatever it was early in the game when Jackson took off and picked up the first down. May have been on the first scoring drive

Yeah, that was huge.

Right after that, defense forced a 3-and-out. Auburn then went on a 7 play TD drive with 6 runs. Went up 14-3 and they never got inside a TD the rest of the way.

The Pleasant KR was huge too. Momentum felt like it had definitely shifted to Baylor. All the energy went out of the crowd and Baylor's sideline when he broke that.

BU had only 2 possessions after that point where they had the ball and were within one score - their last drive in the final 38 seconds of the first half and their first drive in the second half

they managed to scrape together 2 first downs and 53 net yards but zero points

and yet there are those who say we “struggled”

Play of the game was the kick off return for a TD by Pleasant. Baylor had just grabbed the momentum and boom, Pleasant flips the script and really took all the wind out of their sails.

Yeah- probably so, but for me- after last season and how the game was “feeling” up to that point it was massively cathartic to see us get that stop and then have a drive like that. It sort of restored my sense of confidence in AU football. Maybe we have and I just forgot, but I can’t remember the last time AU did that.

Who doesn’t love a methodical, morale breaking death march?

Whoever had that guy bleeding from his face 92 seconds into the game set the tone imo. Good win!
