1899: 10-0. We shut out 6 teams and gave up only 37 points that year.

1908: 9-0. Shut out 5 opponents and gave up 20 total points that year.

2007: 12-1. Best overall record in CFB that year.

Hey when your schedule is consistently one of the hardest, stuff happens. We don't get easy schedule years like most of CFB. We play teams like LSU, Tenn, Georgia, FSU yearly...guarantee no one has a harder Sos in the last 30 years.

Auburn schedule is routinely just as hard if not more difficult, so why you're telling me this I have no clue.

Auburn: "If the Birmingham News made up a poll and named Alabama national champions, you just know they would claim it!"

Also Auburn: *claims a national championship based solely on a poll from Montgomery*

Alabama claims titles on years they lost their bowl game. At least we're not doing that.
Claim away.

That's because titles used to be awarded before the bow games. A lot of teams won the title, then lost their bowl game.

A: A complete idiot

Too many losses to count.

Auburn has TWO losses in their 9 National Championships.

That's how titles were awarded in those years. Those are legitimate claims.

Auburn is claiming titles on years when they were on NCAA probation and banned from postseason play completely.
