Since we're on an AI kick, I asked AI to simulate the upcoming season 1000 times and here are the results

Results — 1,000 simulations
(top 10 champions)

Team Wins as champion Probability
Ohio State 254 25.4%
Alabama 165 16.5%
Penn State 163 16.3%
Georgia 129 12.9%
Texas 98 9.8%
Notre Dame 65 6.5%
Oregon 46 4.6%
Clemson 21 2.1%
Miami (FL) 16 1.6%
LSU 12 1.2%

Impossible.

I was assured by this board that Alabama would be finishing no better than 7-5 this upcoming season.

8-4 more likely, however if the losses start racking up early in the season, your team will fold like a cheap tent

Well, few people saw OSU winning it last year. I think it's wide open this season as well.

Bama fans thinking DeBust will do better with less Saban recruited players always cracks me up

Penn State is being massively overhyped I am calling my shot right now. They will finish at BEST 4th in the big ten

Clemson is being underhyped also imo. I think theyre legit contenders this year.

My final hot take is Lincoln Riley is fired before the season ends

Did ChatGPT tell you which injuries were going to occur ? How the weather patterns would impact which games?

Yeah, because the guys DeBoer has recruited are just a bunch of 2 stars.

The OP is about an AI predicting who wins the national title and dumbass Draco Malfoy equates it to Alabama fans.

DeBoer

I think he is a good coach, we are just in a completely different era of college football now. No one will ever even come within a mile of replicating Sabans success again, and likely not even the 2.5 year run Kirby just recently went on.

When youre one of the top dog teams in the sport lesser programs will come and poach your 2 and even 3 deep. This is massive for a program like UGA, who I will speak to since I know the most about, as we rotate more on defense than anyone in the country and our identity in how we practice is altered by this as well.

You'll still backdoor into the playoffs and have a chance to win the championship.

Nope. Just simply a simulation under perfect conditions. Interesting question though. I'll run it again and ask it to consider that.

Damn, good call. Like this one a lot better although it makes no sense at all.

I ran 1,000 Monte Carlo season simulations with simplified injury and weather modeling. Results (top champions):

Texas — 476 wins (47.6%)

Ohio State — 197 wins (19.7%)

Penn State — 143 wins (14.3%)

Georgia — 79 wins (7.9%)

Notre Dame — 51 wins (5.1%)

Clemson — 33 wins (3.3%)

Oregon — 18 wins (1.8%)

Alabama — 2 wins (0.2%)

Miami (FL) — 1 win (0.1%)

I agree with others than Penn State is fools gold this year.

I think they’re overrated but the B10 is bad.

I mean who is finishing ahead of them?
Ohio State (new QB)
Oregon?

The next highest B10 team is way back at 15 (UM) and PSU plays a pillow soft schedule.

I think it’s them and Ohio State for the B10.

But I would also pick them at the back of the front pack in the SEC:
Texas
Bama
UGA
LSU

I have OU as a 9 win team this year and think they might be better head to head as well but that’s a controversial take so I’ll leave them off that list for now.

I agree that Oklahoma will be much improved this year but their schedule does them no favors. 9 wins is hard for me to find on their schedule. It's possible, though, if they are as good as advertised.

If Mateer is good and they have a downfield passing game they’re gonna beat one of the top tier teams again.

If Mateer is nationally elite no one in the country is gonna want to deal with them.

With even a top 25 offense last year that was an 8 win team.

back 7 on defense - especially the DBs - are not physical and do not like to tackle -

their LBs are kinda undersized - except for the Bama LB who Sweenie portal'd in - Woodass and Brown had a tough time against non-ACC P4 competition last year - both returning LB seemed more interested in rushing the QB than stopping the run last year -

quote:

defense allowed 160.6 rushing yards per game last season, the worst mark the program has seen since the 1970s, and opponents averaged 4.7 yards per carry. The pass defense wasn't much better, giving up over 213 yards per game and falling outside the top 50 nationally.

DL will be the strongest part of their defense - the new DC had to simply everything they'd been doing since BV was there - and opposing OC's should find ways to exploit without the exotic Venable-type blitzes -
quote:

"When there is a smaller group of plays that we are going over, like I said, it is a very simple defense," Denhoff added. "So when you only got a couple of plays that you know you have to run, you don't have as much to remember. It is very easy to know what gap you are in, to know how the defense is played as a whole. And we've also put an emphasis this year on knowing what everybody is doing. It makes everything easier."
they'll look like world beaters against their conference foes -

Which "AI" did you ask to do this?

If it were an LLM (Large Language Model) like ChatGPT, it can't perform any simulations...
