seems like State & Kentucky are giving up a lot of points for teams regarded so poorly in the SEC - I'm also struggling to buy in that Kansas should be favored by so much
aTm is not favored by as much as I'd expect against San Antonio...

You sure that’s right? Most betting sites have us +1.5 to +3 as of now.

It seems like there's always at least one SEC team that loses a non-conference road game in the first few weeks and embarrasses the conference.
This season has Auburn at Baylor written all over it, and this board will be hungry for an actual game thread and the laughing at Auburn and the Auburn skewering will be really intense.

It's -2 to 2.5 across the board right now. Turned on Wednesday.

You start off with Marshall and Austin Peay. Why are you even talking.

Auburn will have the first game thread of the season on here. That can be precarious.

Tennessee - 14.5
How good is Syracuse? That seems like a big arse line given the fact that we're trotting out a new QB and lost Dylan sampson and 47 recievers to the portal last year. Not even counting the defensive players we lost.

My locks of the week that probably won't securely lock are the Georgia Tech money line at Colorado, Texas -2.5 at Ohio State, and Baylor vs. Auburn plus 2.

Kansas has no defense ...
Fresno will probably still lose
But the play is the over at 50.
Should be closer to 64+
Kansas 38 - Fresno 28
The following week ... Mizzou runs for 300+ on ground and wins by 2 TDs ...

They were quite good last season (10-3, best win vs. Miami), but they did just lose their QB to the draft.
Regardless, I agree that the spread seems too big.

I'd be pretty tempted to put some money down on Southern Miss covering that 12 point spread if not outright winning. They made a lot of changes this off-season and could be sneaky good.

Considering the way we have played for the last 5 years, would it really be an embarrassment if AU lost at Baylor as long as it isn't a blowout?

Fresno State has the chance to do the funniest thing
