1976 Sugar Bowl (Superdome)

1980 Sugar Bowl (Superdome)

1982 Sugar Bowl (Superdome)

2017 CFP (ATL Dome)

2021 CFP (Indy Dome)

2022 CFP (LA Dome)

Will they break that trend in 2025 in Miami?

1976 wasn’t really the natty for UGA. If they had beaten Pitt then the national champion would’ve been winner of the rose bowl. I don’t really think UGA would’ve won the natty no matter what. Similar to the Vols in 1985 Sugar Bowl

If they beat the #1 team, maybe they pull an ‘83 Miami and jump to #1 themselves

Probably wouldn’t happen though, a 1 loss USC or Michigan may have been impossible to jump in the eyes of the AP

1960 Mizzou was #1 in both polls and 9-0 going into the final regular season game. All they had to do was beat Kansas at home but they laid an egg. D'oh!

LSU’s last four appearances were all in the super dome. It is actually kind of weird, but home field advantage (sort of) is nice.
