The one year extension is meaningless in the grand scheme of things. The increase to the assistant pool is the most important piece. Keeping Jones, Peeler, Luper, Early, Nicholson, and Pogue recruiting together makes more of a impact on the next 4 seasons than Drink being able to say he will be in Columbia for a player's time on campus.
