If the SEC were to move to the 3-6-6 model for the 2026 season, how would you feel about these protected rivalries?

As a Texas fan I hate the pathetic teams that want to be our rivals in OU and A&M
I want Ohio St and Georgia. 2 worthy opponents

Um.. huh? Since when are Ole Miss and Oklahoma rivals enough to be protected rivals. Ole Miss has to be State, LSU and Vandy.

For Arkansas, replace sTm with LSU and I’m good with it. Also move that game back to the day after Thanksgiving

That would be perfect for Mizzou but as far as SEC priorities go I think we rank probably 16th - after every other team and Bama twice - so I won't get my hopes up.

I put Miss State as LSU's rival instead of Ole Miss since they've played more times.

Tennessee: Alabama, Vanderbilt, Kentucky. Our 3 oldest historical rivals that we have played EVERY season since before the SEC was even founded
Sticking Florida in there for Kentucky would be fine with me also. Love that game too. It's just that Tennessee and Florida have only been actual football rivals for 30 years. We hardly ever played UF until 1992 East/West division creation coinciding with Spurriers arrival at UF.

Even tho Arky isn't even on the same stratosphere as Texas, it's still a historic game and there's beef (pun intended) between both schools. Lots of kids who go to Arky are from Texas.
Giving Arky two games against Texas teams should guarantee them one game per year in the state of Texas, which is massive for their recruiting.

Your lucky OU wasnt in SEC the last 15 years, it would’ve cut your titles in half.

Would never happen, but Tennessee/Auburn becoming a thing again each year would be fun too. Was actually once a very heated and underrated annual SEC rivalry between us we had going pre 1992 SEC expansion.
The Auburn game was like the what Florida became for us. There were some absolute WARS in the 80s between Tenn and AU.
