Well, I for one can’t help you because I don’t have a clue what you’re talking about.

The rumor is that Bjork (Former AD) hired him on a verbal level agreement, it was leaked that night and then all hell broke loose amongst the alumni base on forums and elsewhere. This resulted in an AD pivot going after Elko.

Bjork bounces not long after to OSU

a plane was in motion. It was about as close to introducing him as coach as possible. That night was crazy between phone calls, text messages, and bourbon.

I remember this board before you incessantly polluted it every time you opened your mouth and attempted to sound clever.

It was better.

I stated a fact. Stoops was aggy first choice. Elko 2nd.

Somehow you get your panties in a wad when the sad truth is presented to you.

They call it BAS over on Texags....

Battered Aggy Syndrome.

You clearly have it.

A&M wishes their coach knew how to enjoy a nicotine buzz

Elko lacks motivation

Well, Stoops reached a verbal agreement with the A&M A.D. at the time. But it obviously didn’t get to the signing of the contract stage because the A&M Board of Regents nixxed the deal within 24 hours before he could get on a plane.

Edit - Elko was the preferred choice over Stoops. Elko had coaching success with A&M already as the DC for 4 years.

Is Stoops big on cigarettes, or Zyn pouches?

I agree though, I mark that down as a positive for CFB coaches.

Something Old school like Skoal long cut.
