Murray State finished the season ranked higher according to On3 rankings.

Tenn has a great baseball program going right now, they are just trying to define themselves through the eyes of LSU's success. They should scratch out their own identity as the bridesmaid. There is nothing wrong with that...

Murray State finished the season ranked higher according to On3 rankings, than every SEC school besides LSU and Arkansas. Is Tennessee really living in your head so much that they are the first thing you can think of when you get up in the morning?

Does Dolly Parton’s boobs in the 70’s and 80’s count?

Ugh. TOTALLY stinks having to support a baseball program led by someone who wins, motivates, develops and recruits at a Tony Vitello like pace for the foreseeable future. Gonna be PISSED if we don't have at least 60 wins again when LSU hands us back the natty trophy next like they did last year.
I'm just glad mighty LSU baseball has finally found a real baseball rivalry that doesn't fizzle out after 2 years.

You are welcome for Vitello's program forcing LSU baseball to recalibrate and acquire better overall talent and coaching upon Vitello closing up shop on Paul Mainieri's LSU career.
We got you guys in 2021 and 2022.
You guys got us in 2023 mainly via the literal MLB ready CY Youngesque pitcher
We got you guys and the natty 2024.
We hand the natty back to you guys this year.
We represent as decent of a chance as anyone out there of being the ones who you end up handing the natty back to next year assuming the MLB draft doesn't totally plunder us.
Both these baseball programs have been pushing each other towards national championship caliber greatness. I think I can live with Tennessee and LSU swapping the natty back and forth for the next 10-20 years with these two PHENOMENAL head coaches we each have leading our schools.

Hand it back? That would mean y’all won one before last year. I think it’s pretty common knowledge last year was y’all’s first natty this century. That’s the definition of a mid athletics program. Mid might be generous actually!

Big Boy Brain thinking going down here I see. Love Cajun math

Just because you can’t use proper grammar don’t blame me. Your post states that we gave it back to y’all in 24. When did yall win it the first time for us to even give it back to you in the first place? That’s the first time ANY Vols baseball player has EVER touched that trophy!

be wary of the portal
Tenn went for mercenaries instead of culture, Doyle went from Coastal to Ole Miss to Tenn and missed out on Omaha
LSU got culture for this season and it paid off

Didn’t yall go for mercenaries with Tommy white and Paul Skenes. Not everything has to be controversial. Y’all had a great year this year and Tennessee has a rebuild year post natty just like yall in 2024. It’s not that hard to understand

Haha that is not exactly how it went down, but ok. PM's health closed up shop on his own career. I am glad he got over the issues and is with USC.

Manieri got told to pack it up by LSU. Anyone who says different is just lying

I see we have a Derek Zoolander Center For Children Who Can't Read Good Alumni here handing out grammar and reading comprehension lessons.
Absolutely love how the dumber somebody is, the more confident they are about the intelligence they possess. GENIUSES like you are so unintentionally funny.

What was it? 0-5? or 0-6? LSU went against Tony V the year that his baseVOLS sent Paul back home to Baton Rouge to pack up his office for one last time?

I guess last year you guys must have been just like "nah, we don't need any of that goofy ole culture in 2024? Like, clearly Tennessee baseball culture stacking up the most wins in all of D1 baseball so far thru the 2020s really reveals the decay of that Vitello Tennessee baseball culture, huh? .
Wild how Tennessee baseball remains causing the silliest shite to surface from some of the "Suck My Tiger Dick, Bitch!" brigade members for damn near half a decade here now. Amusing stuff

Jay has won 2 nattys in 3 years. What’s little Tony’s record?

Wait, is Jay Johnson the only coach in SEC baseball history to ever produce a 60 game winning national champion too? Not everyone can build the greatest singular team in SEC baseball history like Tony did last year.
You bois are gonna LOVE the new batch of talent he's bringing to Knoxville next year as well. Tough stuff being a program that has somehow under Tony V suddenly morphed into an MLB Draft turnstile.
Saw today where Tony has 8 guys from his 2022 team alone that have already been called up to the Majors.
