Yeahhhhhhhhhhh I don’t think this is necessary. Wood had a great game. You don’t have to take away from that to be happy for Anderson.

WRONG…3 NH in history of CWS regardless of opponent, look at the first ever, not even sure if it’s even still a school. Without looking it up I’m assuming more than 3 complete game shutouts.

If so, again great outing but still not a no hitter. Do you even realize what all has to happen to throw a no hitter? And on top of that 19K’s that’s 70% of the lineup struck out…add to that 14 of the 19=74% struck out on a fastball that they knew was coming. Wood said fight me and I’m going to knock you out and he did time and time again. Anderson was dealing tonight and I questioned them bringing him back out for the 9th in a one run game but he got it done. Anderson was lights out tonight but he was still 3 hits shy of a no no and regardless of who you are playing and what bracket it comes in, at this level NH trumps a 3 hit CG shutout every single time

Who gives af. Tip your hat to the both of them for unbelievable performances. Just be happy as a conference we’re able to watch the best of the best perform and compete every weekend.

I wish I could up vote this a thousand times…regardless of who and when the game was played against both were dominant pitching performances! Why does it have to be a pissing contest? Hogs are out, Tigers need to win another game, let’s hope Eyanson follows it up tomorrow. Chalk up another NC for LSU and the SEC and let’s get ready for football
