I read an interview where Christian Miller said he was the best all around athlete on the entire team!

Then I saw a snippit of him jumping over BOTH Lawson Luckie and Bo Hughley (who is listed at 6'7") and dunking a basketball. I'm sorry I couldn't find that again to post it. But DANG. This kid sounds like our next Ladd McConkey...and THEN SOME! Anybody else heard anything about him?

1. Ladd McConkey wasn’t a walk on

2. Jeremy Bell got a lot of buzz preseason last year. We are deep at WR for the moment but anything can happen.

3. Terrence Edwards is very high on him and has been vocal about it

I hope so, but players like him are a walk on for a reason.

Mews was going to be the next big walk on and when he stepped on the field with the big boys, it was obvious why he was even though he could do some special things.

If Bell wants playing time, he should be bugging Stockton to run routes, throw and catch every day this summer. Gunner's chemistry with his receivers will be key for next season. If they spend every spare moment building that chemistry, they have a chance to do something special. If they do the minimum required by the coaches, this very difficult schedule will beat them down.

Mews should’ve stayed. We could’ve used him in the short passing game and as a rb last year.

Well, that's true, but he was a 'zero star' player with his only scholly offer from a place like Rhode Island A&M Tech or something. So, he might as well have been a walk-on.

He was a 3-star.

Uh, I was exaggerating with a little humor. My point being, he wasn't a big 5 star recruit.

There are significantly more D1 starters who were 3 stars vs 0 star walk ons. Like not remotely in the same zip code.
