Cubs had 2 WS prior to 2016, Arky is more like the baseball version of the 90's Buffalo Bills.

I was going to make a thread about this, but never did. Could we view Arkansas baseball a lot like Clemson football when they were known to be "clemsoning" and see Arkansas win a couple nattys in a short period? Seems like a pretty fair comparison.

Both are really futile, but the Cubs won one recently. I'd compare the Hogs to the Milwaukee Brewers or the Seattle Mariners.

Cubs won it all in 2016. Maybe the Cleveland Indians/Guardians. Cleveland hasn’t won the WS since the 40s or so.

If we're just talking baseball, we have ZERO Championships. So any team with any Championship ever is better than us.
I'd say Buffalo Bills, especially under Marv Levy. Great guy. Great teams with huge talent. No Super Bowl victories but overall a very successful run under him and again in recent years.
Another common thread is their QB when they had O.J. , Joe Ferguson. Good teams with no championships.

I am certainly no Arkansas fan. LSU, through and through, however, that was one hell of a ball game. Arkansas has nothing to hang their head over. A bounce of the ball in a different direction, and LSU would be hanging their head. The video of their players showing raw emotion was heartwarming . If you get so callous as a fan that you can’t appreciate the effort that comes from years of playing a sport, and losing at the highest level, you need to find something else to watch. Hold your head high Arkansas. You don’t have one damn thing to be ashamed of. You left your heart on the field, and that is all you can do is a team.
