That Oregon State lineup was such a nightmare.

They weren’t the last to do it, but South Carolina did it in 2010.
In fact they lost the first game in each of the 2002 and 2010 CWS and made it to the finals both times after beating Clemson twice in the semis. That had to feel pretty sweet
In 2002 the Gamecocks lost the first game 11-0(!!) and still made it through their side. Very impressive

After that loss, SC went on to win 22 consecutive post season games and back to back titles, losing in the finals in an effort for a 3 peat. These days, we try to win a SEC series.

Yep. I was a student at SC at the time and remember it clearly. It was one heck of a run.
