For us hogs, this is the only way it could happen

To be clear I don’t expect us to win the whole thing, or even to get through LSU. But if we were to win it, this is the only storybook that made sense.

We had the ghost of 2019 FSU, where we couldn’t hit against a garbage pitcher and lost 1-0 after Campbell’s gem. We broke that with a no hitter yesterday.

We have to win 2 straight against LSU, which mimicked ghosts of LSU in 2009 and Carolina in 2012 when we were close but just had stronger ghosts the we couldn’t beat. We’ll see.

If we somehow win all of that we have the west coast ghost from all the things we don’t need to talk which Coastal Carolina still oddly reflects, or the chin beards from northern Kentucky (I wish OSU was still here). But I’m terrified of Coastal if we somehow come out of LSU.

This is the first year as an Arkansas fan I felt like we had the best team in the CWS. We ran into Kade pitching great, hats off.

But… if we get Dave his first title, this is how it was meant to be. It probably won’t happen. But, I’m comfortable with how the baseball gods have set this up.

If we don’t win it now, we probably never will. But, this is our shot. Let’s have fun the next 2-6 days.
