Is there a reason LSU gets a pass on sucking?

A&M had epic meltdowns in all 3 MMS and deserves the ridicule.
LSU absolutely sucked in football and basketball and can’t close on baseball despite being gifted a great schedule. Yet LSU still wants to fight for #2 in the conference (which is funny by itself).
