Arkansas basketball is reportedly set to make a return to New York City this upcoming season to play in another marquee non-conference matchup. Speaking to those in attendance at a father-daughter satellite camp on Saturday, John Calipari revealed the news and the opponent. According to radio host Josh Bertaccini, who was in attendance, Calipari confirmed the Razorbacks "will go back to New York this year to play Houston." Unfortunately there were no details or follow-up on the subject.

Gah. Hate Houston with a passion (personal reasons). Losing to them would suck

If we want to be the best we have to play the best no matter the outcome. I like it.

Yes sir, iron sharpens iron. We aren't starting 0-5 in the SEC again this year. We will absolutely be battle tested when the dance starts.

The last four seasons indicate that the best we will start is 2-4.

Please bookmark this post. I would love to be wrong.

I'm tired of judging the basketball program by its "potential" and the football program by its SEC record. It's time to go 14-4 in conference and win 30 games in season for the first time since '95.

I really don't give a damn that we have been 'the cinderella team" that consistently only wins 22 games but makes the Sweet Sixteen. The Alabama schools are putting us to shame....in basketball.

Done.

Last year was a total reset. We have legit experienced guys that played together last year combined with legit transfers and superstar freshman.

The returning core of our team is badass, the freshman and transfers just have to figure out how they fit. Once they do we'll be nasty.

So weird to care about the meaningless regular season in college basketball. Same for baseball.

Basketball wins in the post season. We are one of like 2 programs with 4 sweet 16's in 5 years
