They are weak, and I mean very weak. Yesterday their pitcher didn’t bust 88, today they have a guy that’s giving all his effort to bust 85. Amazing how UTSA smashed UT then turns around and is laying eggs. Arky or Tenner would embarrass those two. Shame they’re having to play each other.

If they can effectively locate it and drop in a 70+ change, 85-88 can be devastating

Watching those two and then flipping the channel to Arkansas Tennessee is like high school to MLB. It’s wildly different. Even physically they look small

Ark vs LSU will determine who wins the CWS.
If UCLA, Duke or Murray Sstate face either of those team, it will be like AAA teams playing a Juco.

How? The average D1 starter in the SEC averages 95. Average for UCLa is 84. The coach even said they don’t have hard throwers. They would be almost last in the SEC

You’re trashing UCLA for doing something the SEC champion couldn’t, as well as pitch speed. Just doesn’t flow.

A change up needs to look like a fastball out of the pitcher’s hand to be effective. A 70 MPH change up that looks like a fastball will land 10 feet in front of the plate. The alternative is worse. You don’t want your pitcher leaving a 70 MPH change up in the strike zone.
