I know you are joking. But schools have to look at the long term picture just like a business. NIL will take more money year after year. If you don’t start tackling realities now that means someday if you wait too long then you might have to make much bigger cuts because you failed to face reality.
I think its a smart move. If in a few years its not as bad as predicted they can undo the cuts quickly. Whereas those not cutting early enough will be in trouble and face big cuts.
Its all still real money.
