Is the tomahawk chop war chant played on stadium speakers anymore?

My last game was 2020 so I can’t remember. I do know Turner Field would blare it.

I don't believe it is. They got woke after that one pitcher who was like 1/8th native american bitched and wined like 5+ years ago.
I think the fans try and start it up but honestly, most are too young or oblivious to know that used to be a tradition.
Now the only tradition we have in this country is to bitch about stuff and cancel it. That is our new tradition, cancel everything.
People won't even know what native americans are or were in about 20 years. YOUR BAD - you cancelled em.

Last time I went to a game which I think was last year, they did not play it. They played a drum that sounded like the chant and then everyone in the crowd knew what was going on, so they all chanted. Pretty weak if you ask me, hopefully they will bring it back. I will admit that I started getting tired of it when they would do it in the bottom of the 1st inning. I felt like the chant needed to be for times that the team needed a rally, like the bottom of the 7th with 2 man on and down by 1 or something like that. Trying to get the crowd excited when most fans are still stuck in traffic is futile.

I miss it too, but it's also where I grew up so I miss the fond memories of that place. Going to a game at The Battery is 10x better than Turner Field from beginning to end. Yes, it's expensive....yes, it sucks getting there....but once you're there, it's such a better experience.
