If you add up Auburn, Texas, Mississippi State, & LSU you just barely pass A&M at $27,871,739

damn. Jimbo just totally fricked them. I thought he was a great hire at the time. You just never know.

You can add everyone not named Texas A&M, Auburn, and Texas and you only get to $26,850,418 which is less than Texas A&M solo

No their moronic athletics department leadership being the worst contract issuers the world has ever seen totally fricked them.

Freeze may add a bit to ours in the next year or two....

They’ve got the money for that. We’ve heard that here.

Don't forget our own leadership hired Charlie Strong. Thankfully they were smart enough to avoid giving him a ridiculous contract.

Woodward hired him and I definitely wasn't sold on the hire given how quickly he dismantled FSU after crablegs got drafted in the NFL. Even Mack Brown had envy at Jimbo's speed to entitlement
The initial 10 year $75 million contract was bad but it was the 10 year extension for $95 million fully guaranteed that was the crippling back breaker and now that moron is at Ohio State.
With that said A&M's cluster frick includes the board of regents who voted for that dogshyte along with the TAMU president but sadly she resigned.
I have little doubt that as soon as Tickle Me Elko shows signs of life the new group will jump at the chance to lock him up once more.

I really appreciate all of y'all who are worried about our spending but we are doing just fine. I know this would devastate most of your schools but it is a minor expense that has already been covered. As you will recall, the 12th Man Foundation made a donation to the athletics department of $139 million right before they fired Jimbo. They just made another $95 million dollar donation a few weeks ago.
As a matter of fact, they are currently designing a new redevelopment/expansion of Kyle Field and the Bright Football Complex. This expansion will ensure that Kyle Field remains the largest stadium in the SEC. Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park is also scheduled for an $80 million dollar upgrade in 2026.
I know some of these numbers are hard for most of you to comprehend but sometimes size, and generous alumni, do matter.

That's a lot of money to not pay someone and still end up with the same results

And Sark will lose to A&M on purpose for the foreseeable future, just to ensure Elko gets an extension.

Is he? I don't see anything on their website about him. Is he an "advisor" or something?

That's a lot of words and wasted money to say no matter what we do we still suck.
