Without having to drive to the coast, where can I get some fresh shrimp for a special occasion boil? Fresh either from GA/SC or FL.

Thanks in advance.

Can't remember the name but before I moved there was a lady with a store at the corner of clairmont and Buford hwy that did seafood. A bit pricey if I recall but she definitely had good fresh stuff. It was in the same shopping center as sumo hibachi

Hooked Meat & Seafood is fresh and has a good selection. They’re in Greenville, SC. Don’t know if it’s too much of a drive but it’s pretty good.

They get mad when you point out that atlanta is just a clogged maze of office parks n shopping centers.

But Then. They give directions to each other referencing shopping centers for where to get frozen seafood

“Hey, I heard the one by the glass office building next to a courtyard Marriott has shrimp on sale. Skip daddle uh skip skap dooo!

When I lived in Atlanta area I always gave directions based on some landmark. I would ask directions by "What is it close to?"
I told a guy in Dunwoody asking where the nearest Lowe's was, "You know where the Frito Lays plant used to be?" He said "No." I said, "You're not from around here, are you?"

I get mine at Atlanta Highway Seafood Market in Gainesville.

Actually got some live Crawfish there this weekend. Always good but I do call ahead and make sure they have it/preorder it.

This one doesn't count you have to remove it.
It's the same one I recommended earlier but apparently it's too cookie cutter to have fresh seafood.

Clairmont and Buford intersection is nowhere near Medlock Bridge in JC.

Does Ms Kathleen have two locations?

Isn't that just a restaurant?

Can you buy fresh seafood there to cook at home?
