Why isn’t Ed Orgeron on this list?

if saban successfully rigs shite so it isn't so easy for bama's 4th stringers to transfer and start immediately somewhere else, he'll go back to coaching

Imagine thinking that Nick Saban is what has been holding back Missouri football.

Why would he go back to coaching if he rigs stuff forn4th string players?

He did get the band together that year. And getting the band together and getting them to play together is the main job of a head coach.

Saban doesn’t like where the sport is from a coaching perspective. So no on him.

He had more gas left in the tank than I thought after Texas. The change of scenery with lower expectations was good for him. But he overstayed by a year or two. He’s done now.

Well, Jimbo has 76 million reasons to ponder his future coaching endeavors.

Why would any of those guys want to put in the kind of hours required of a CFB coach these days?

Fisher is only 59. That surprised me. I totally get not calling it quits at that age. Retirement—total retirement—can age you. With his money I’d buy a boat and start a deep sea fishing business or something though.
