Because the SEC doesn't have lacrosse.
This is not uncommon for schools that have teams that the SEC doesn't have competition for.
Kentucky's men's soccer team plays in the Sun Belt.

It only has 6 teams in it. Three of them are Florida, UC Davis, and San Diego St.
