Congrat's Auburn on an EPIC basketball season!

SEC Champs in the greatest year the conference has ever seen! 
Also appreciate all the Auburn fans being classy as hell after a tough loss.
Broome just never seemed to get back to 100% after his injury. Although a 90% Broome is better than most anyone else in the country.
UF got the breaks down the stretch in yesterday's game, which could have easily gone the other way. I feel pretty certain Auburn will be fighting for championships again next season. Lots of talent coming in to replace the ones going out.

Why do basketball and baseball acknowledge regular season champions over conference tourney championships but football doesn’t?

Because football doesn't have a conference tournament, which is what Florida won. We are not conference champions, we are conference tournament champions. There is a difference in playing good for 3 days and playing good for 2 months.

There is a mutual admiration and respect between the teams. Don't get me wrong, you want to win, just like you wanted to beat your brother in 1 on 1 in your driveway growing up.

Thank you and your team won that game. Clayton is another level good. He pissed me off like Jordan did when my team played against the bulls. A scoring machine and competitive as hell.

Because football is too physical a sport to play enough games for that, and it’s expensive to travel with a whole team.

This year had some exceptions. Like 14 SEC teams in the big dance. Then first time since 08 all four number seeds made it to the final four teams. AU and UF to finish on top of the SEC heap; later the last two SEC teams in the big dance.

Was at the game and all we could do was tip our hat to Clayton Jr.
He made some insane shots while covered in great defense. And things still could’ve swung our way if our guards had made a couple of the contested shots they took.
I have family ties to UF and will be cheering for the Gators Monday.

Thank bud. It was an amazing season. I had a gut feeling Florida was going to win in our first match up and knew yall had the better team heading into this game. It was going to take us limiting Clayton to win and we didn't get that accomplished. Up 8 at the half I liked our chances, but we missed our shots and Clayton didn't.
To be fair, yes we weren't 100%. CBM has a torn ligament in his shooting hand and Broome hasn't been the same since his ankle injury in Feb. But there's no excuses. Yall were the better team this year.
