Jamie Shaw, national coverage guy at ON3, named UK's Malachi Moreno as one of the top performers at the McD's All-American game.

quote:

In an ultimate flex, Malachi Moreno missed the first couple days of the McDonald’s week so he could win a state championship with his Georgetown (KY) Great Crossings team on Saturday night. On Sunday, he flew to Brooklyn and showed up with a convincing performance in the scrimmage. He then played very well in his minutes in the game.

Moreno is the No. 2-ranked center in the 2025 On3 150. The 7-foot-0 Kentucky signee has good hands, and he plays within himself. In this setting, he was mostly out of the dunker spots, pulling vertical gravity to himself. In the game, he also knocked down a spot three, which is an intriguing aspect that will be worth watching how it develops. Moreno is an instinctive traffic rebounder; he has good timing as a rim protector, and he finishes around the basket. He will need to continue getting stronger, but there are a lot of intriguing natural tools there as he is at a current intersection of current production met with continued projection.

Moreno finished the game with 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks while going from the field.

Is this still a thing? I figured once this season was over for both teams they would both be able to move on and focus on themselves. I get this past year being a pissing match but please move on from each other. We're all tired of the back and forth between the two fanbases. You both got eliminated in the sweet 16. Let's call it a draw.

Tell Arkanasas fans. We don't care anymore, but obviously they still do.
