Doesnt matter if we win or lose as long as we feed your players! Our LFL Country club will be caravanning in to make sure we hand all fans grilled steaks and get on our knees and thank Jay Johnson for graciously hosting us. We are gonna pose with all of your fans and we will even pay for your fans meal.
Just make sure after you sweep us to thank us as hospitality state university. We don't care anymore about winning just posing for pictures for social media cred.
Please abolish this loser program that Polk created(couldnt even win with the most loaded teams and let LSU and Bertman run their dicks into him). fricking Left Field Country Clubbers are so pathetic that they'd rather cheer our losses with opposing fans than allow our own fans to celebrate. Such a "we won the party not the game" bs they make fun of Ole Miss for but in reality they are 10x worse. Sweep our asses its spring football season anyways.

Awww...c'mon, it can't be that bad!
I've got to say during the football season, those damned cowbells are frickin annoying. And aren't ya'll the home crowd in baseball, who counts the balls out loud that the pitcher throws until he throws a strike? I guess every fan base has their quirky little show of support for their team, especially at home games.

Don't you pull that Caw crap with us and try to jinx us like he did vs UF football. State is always capable. Y'all took 2 from us in '23 when we won it all.

We’ve actually won the previous two series against LSU.
I expect some ugly Lemonball and a LSU series win. Wouldn’t shock me if we got swept.
I do think it’s kinda funny how pissed our fanbase is at LFL and feeding the other teams after a game if we lose. We were doing it in ‘18, ‘19, ‘21 when we were winning and now all of a sudden it’s a problem in ‘25 cause we find ways to lose and Lemon’s product sucks.

There’s not much difference in 0-6 and 1-5 in SEC play and only two quality wins on the season.

I don't know our pitching seems suspect at best on some days. One or 2 of the young ones need to step up

Oh we won’t lose simply from lack of talent or anything.
Fundamentals, base running, and several questionable coaching decisions will attribute to the losses.
Let us get the bases loaded and you’re guaranteed to get out of it unscathed.

I would go to games just to see Thigpen, Palmero and Will Clark play. States baseball field and program is top notch.

Cause you didn't have those fans puckering up on social media bragging to everyone on how they did it and posing with the opposing fans and team after getting swept at home.
It is true it has been done for years but there was a sense of hostitlity that occured at the stadium. Thats now long gone. We just have a tailgate party out there with people that want social media cred and could care less about creating a tough place to play. Just pathetic.
Just imagine how retarded it would be if we fed Kiffin and posed with their fans last time they came in and won the Egg Bowl. But the lfl country club would be the first to do so.

As a lover of all kinds of 10/10 melts, this one just makes me sad.

It is really sad to see where all MSU sports are now. They really need to drop down and play in the sunbelt with USM.

I'm not defending it one way or the other. I just said I think it's funny.
Lemon has made the program soft and fans have started to show up for the party more instead of cheering for the team and paying attention to the game. That won't last long though.
He's even lost the fans now so I'm sure a lot of that will start to decline if we stay on the trajectory we are on the remainder of the season.

Weather is nice, great ballpark. People will still show up

Not saying attendance would fall off and park would be deserted.
But to expect it to remain the same and people give up a full weekends and all the traveling some people do to keep seeing an embarrassing outcome is foolish. Those with the outfield spots will obviously keep attending to get their money's worth.

People are invested... its a social event as much as a sport. The chairbacks might suffer some, but the outfield area will be attended well.
Now football... I expect it to look like a juco game at Hinds in Raymond

Our men and women’s basketball team both made the tourney. Men’s tennis is ranked. Our softball team is very good. Baseball won a natty a few years ago. Yes we are down there but that will get fixed we have too much fan support and great facilities to not succeed there. Football was also fine until our coach unexpectedly died. Not sure how Lebby will end up doing but overall we are competing fine in most sports.
If you look at the historical norm we are way above our average. Historically we were awful in all the non big 3 sports and sucked in football. Prior to 2010, we had baseball and were ok in basketball and that was it outside of football in the late 90s.
NIL era will be tough for us in football but we can compete fine everywhere else.
