Can you imagine how America would respond if we had an all SEC Final Four?

I think everyone would lose their marbles. Highly unlikely because Duke and Houston are so good but it would be highly entertaining to watch how everyone responds if that did happen!!

Based on football precedent the tournament would be expanded to 180 teams

My pool is like all UNC/Duke fans with me and one other Florida fan and my F4 is UK, Bama, AU, and Tenn. Would be nice to win some money

With all the Saints, Gonzaga, Dayton, and Xavier’s of the league getting first round byes and home court advantage.

Exactly. The selection committee would just start putting all of the SEC teams in the same region each year, guaranteeing one FF team at most.

They'll go back to the old "Regional" format. The South Region will be all SEC teams with the SunBelt and SoCon champ.

The Big 12, ACC , B1G and Big East will be exempt because they have teams in all four regions.

Look at how the NCAA does D2 and D3. There was a four team D2 baseball regional a couple years back that had the #3, #5, #6 and #10 team in it fighting to play the #2 team in a Super Regional.

It would probably kill Dick Vitale. He’s old anyway.

Nah, I've got an all SEC final four. My bracket is still 98.2%. I think I'm right! ;)

I can't recall - how is the CWS selected. Is there a limit on # of SEC teams?

I know you're not talking baseball but I got to thinkin..

It doesn’t make sense from a competitive balance standpoint, but I like the idea regions, and teams actually competing to be the best team in their region, not just part of a bracket.

How’d you manage that?

It always seems suspicious how often SEC teams have other SEC teams in their regionals, setting up Supers featuring two SEC teams - usually where avoiding that would be very simple.
