This is what a lot of people on TV keep saying if Louisville wins their 1st round game. I see it as more of a neutral site game, but lean towards Auburn having a slight home crowd advantage.

Auburn fans have known they were playing in Lexington the first weekend for a few weeks now, so they had first crack at the tickets. You also have Tennessee fans that are pretty confident in beating a 15 seed and are buying tickets for Saturday as well. That leaves a lot of Louisville fans not wanting to buy tickets for Saturday yet since it's not a guaranteed game.

You can also throw in the factor that SEC fans on average are more likely to pull for another SEC school than an ACC school. Plus the local UK fans that might have tickets that don't want to see Louisville do well.

What is bullshite speculation and not just speculation?

It's also speculation that Louisville will have more fans in Lexington because Louisville is just 80 miles away.

They did, but they weren't the #1 overall seed. It was Alabama that year. Houston also has a much smaller fanbase than Auburn and don't travel as well.

Kentucky fans will have a hard time with who to root for, sort of.

On one hand Auburn, a team that will be in UKs way down the road, and who slammed belts down on the floor not long ago, vs Louisville, our sworn enemy, but beatable.

Hmmm

We had probably 8k in Bridgestone on Saturday and I’d guess about that Saturday in Rupp. I will be there but most AU fans have bought tickets weeks ago

I’m still contemplating the trip. Get in ticket price was $200 for session 3 as of Sunday night. It fell to $167 yesterday and is $138 at the moment. I feel like they will continue to fall.

I am going to wait to see how Louisville does against Creighton. If Louisville builds a lead, I’ll probably buy tickets in the first half of their game. If they are losing I’ll wait to see if tickets come down even more with them out.

I would like to buy lower level tickets without dropping $300/seat x 4 for my family of four. Would love to see if lower level falls below $200. That would be ideal.

I am doing the exact same. I’ll buy before that Creighton ul game ends and find the bottom of the market but definitely getting lower level. Driving up Thursday evening, distilleries Friday and watch UK game against Troy somewhere I’m sure. I know a lot of folks leaving Thursday and Friday and skipping round 1.

Hope you got a room. They are all booked up and expensive. Downtown Lexington is going to be slammed with the NCAAs with both men’s and women’s.
