Kinda surprised virginia is tied for 4th here. I know they have a good program but wouldn't have expected that many #1s for them.
Ditto for Oklahoma and Mich. State having the same number.

Mizzou lost by 52 to Arkansas, went undefeated in the Big Eight, got the one seed and lost to Arizona in the EE; this was 1994. Hard to believe Florida has had a top seed just three times. The other two times? Florida wins it in 2007 and gets to FF in 2014. All of Florida’s FF runs have been when their seed was an ODD number.

Gotta remember the Ralph Sampson years for VA. They were dominant in the reg season. OU has had some really good teams in the late 80's with Mookie Blaylock and Stacey King. Almost had a natty but Manning went off for Kansas.

I probably wouldn't have thought that OU even had one #1 seed, let alone five.

Oklahoma has been to the 2nd most final fours in the SEC behind Kentucky. Great basketball tradition. Some player of the years in Blake Griffin, Buddy Hield, and Tre Young.

Also Kelvin Sampson getting #1 seeds at Oklahoma and Houston is impressive. Guy can coach!

So Kentucky is overrated a lot. Shocker when you get so much help from refs to win games in SEC play.

You mean to tell me you’re gonna try and sit there and talk about Oklahoma basketball legends and NOT bring up the greatest Mexican basketball player that ever lived?
Eduardo Alonso Nájera Pérez.
