So far so good in North Bama, but the worst of it is coming in later today.. It's going to be a long day for some. Everyone stay safe!

Prepped and ready for a long night tonight. Having a camp out with the kids downstairs so everyone is easy to transport to shelter if needed.

Was ok in Barbados.

Flying home today though is going to suck.

Nothing yet here in Central Mississippi, but I don’t like the look of these warnings.

I’m concerned for our folks east of Arkansas, I hope it’s not as bad as they say. Be safe and stay close to a shelter, God bless.

I’ve been watching the weather on tv today and this line of storms aren’t playing around. It’s working Mississippi over now and doesn’t seem to be letting up.

The bad thing is it’s not a squall line, it’s isolated bad arse blotches and those seem to be the worst for producing tornadoes.

Just some trees down, minor house damage and power outages in this part of STL.

Unfortunately, a lot of other folks in MO and AR weren’t as lucky last night. Prayers up.

Got in a tornado shelter for the first time today. A buddy of mine has one in the neighborhood. First time he got in it since he bought it 15 years ago. Stuffed the cat into the carrier and she battled like a gladiator but got her in. My kid follows tornado chasers and was on point in the situation with his weather apps. Looked scary and saw an 80mph gust relatively close on his app but isolated. He said spin up tornadoes out of the blue is what to watch for. Keep your head down baws.
