So much for the Texas Baseball tradition of clean cut, and no facial hair.

Didn’t think Schloss would give us olds the bird. I was proud when were the clean faced team vs. all the neck haired scruffies. Yes, this troubles me. It was good enough for Gus, Augie and Pierce.

These kids see no honor in being clean shaven. No reason to give other coaches the "we'll let you be yourself" card when recruiting against us.

Times change...
At OU... we had a women's basketball coach named Sherry Coale....
She started in about 1996 and had OU as a final four team by the early 2000s.
She had a "no tattoo" rule for her team. And as the years went by she continued to refuse to recruit chicks with tattoos. And by about the mid 2010s... most really good basketball chicks had tattoos. Her "non tattooed" teams started to slide... and by the time she finally "retired"... the team was a losing team.
The new coach lets the players have tattoos... and all of the sudden... OU women's basketball is good again.

Haha, I remember those days many years ago. Get a haircut or turn in your gear.
Those days are long gone and good luck getting players if that’s the rules.
Heck, look at baseball teams flipping people off and dancing all over the base paths. It’s disgusting but overlooked if they’re good.
I don’t like it but that’s what we have.

Paul had the shave rule at lsu. He dropped it in 2020.

That’s pretty much it right there. Baseball was hot dogs, apple pie, and chevrolet. The classic clean-cut look was part of it.

I'm new here. But him and that GAT guy give off fake Texas fan vibes they gotta be from another fanebase hiding behind Texas logo. I grew up in the H. I know BS when I see it.
