Has a better first season at 8-10 in the SEC than Eric Musselman did at 7-11 back in the 2019-2020 season.
Not bad for an 0-5 start and a team with just seven players.

Our 2 leading scorers have been out. And one hasn't played the last 12 games.

Yeah. But some of this is self inflicted. It was a bad idea to go with a short roster with open scholarahips.

3rd highest NIL purse in the league. 8-10. Very Calipari like..

They went 7-5 when Boogie Fland was out for the season and 3-1 with Adou Thiero having a late season ending injury.
That is the opposite, they are better with less players.

But Cal will tell you how much you should appreciate them because of who they get drafted...

That was a dumb move but regardless, we lost our 2 top players, even if we had depth, those 2 were starters.

The reason he did it is because he didn't want to pay his players a high NIL, develop them and they hit the portal.
So he kept it a minimum of players with high NIL and filled the rest with practice players.
That may change next season.

Boogie opting out when the season was bad was the best thing for Wagner and Davis. Revived the season.

He had the right idea and it was risky but in a sport where depth is key, it wasn't realistic.

No offense but he is a trash coach...and Gamecock fans have ever right to think that since he can't beat us. He has so much talent but no coaching knowledge

It's good to have a trash coach to get you in the NCAA tournament as a first year head coach since the 2007-2008 season.

It was Trevon Brazile and Jonas Aidoo that won the game today and made them NCAA tournament bound.

The #1 player on that NIL budget has been out half the year.
This was a good coaching job based on all the injuries to start the year and finish it.
